Battle of Honey Springs Memorial Service and Friends of Honey Springs Annual Meeting

The Oklahoma Historical Society and Friends of Honey Springs Battlefield will hold their annual memorial service at Honey Springs Battlefield Historic Site on July 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., marking the 163rd anniversary of the Battle of Honey Springs. The free, public program includes a keynote address from Tom Wing of the Drennen-Scott Historic Site in Arkansas, remarks from Oklahoma Historical Society leadership, a color posting, and an artillery salute, followed by the Friends of Honey Springs Battlefield annual meeting.
