Free (taster kits available for purchase)Smokin’ the Fort BBQ & Chili Cook-Off returns to downtown Fort Gibson on September 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free annual event, hosted by the Fort Gibson Chamber of Commerce, features a BBQ and chili cook-off, live music, a children’s zone, a beer garden, and a boutique and craft fair. Visitors can purchase a taster kit to sample entries and help judge the competition.
